What is Be My Last about?
Stripped of all of the fancy fantasy and romance, Be My Last is just a drama about growing up. Faith is featured prominently, but this comic is not about religion. You will never seem me preaching for or against any beliefs. The religions in Be My Last are purely fictional, and any resemblance to real life religions are simply because I dislike having to explain a bunch of fictional terms, and it'll be easier for readers to relate. That aside, BML is about the doubt of faith, a stage in growing up that almost all of us go through. BML will have almost all of the problems that teenagers go through when growing up- love, friendship, sibling relationships, depression, etc.
Why is it called Be My Last?
I got the name from Utada Hikaru's song of the same name. It will make sense at the very end of the comic. I can't really explain anything else without spoiling the ending.
When do you update?
As of now, sporadically although I try to update at least once a week, usually on weekends.
Is this a BL/GL story?
No. I may feature a gay side character (and the throes of unrequited love) in the future, but don't read BML just to find some boy-on-boy action. I'm telling right now, it's not going to happen.
Technical details?
I use regular printer paper, a .5 mechanical pencil, rubber eraser, and ball-point pen to draw pages traditionally. Then I edit and add tones in Photoshop 7. Each page takes 3-6 hours depending on the page.
